Hidden Spring Lavender & Alpaca Farm

This has been on my to-visit list for a while. Lavender + alpaca (26 of them!) + honeybees. Finally went early June, hoping my visit would coincide with the lavender bloom (nope too early. It really needs to be end of June or early July). Got complimented on my alpaca dress (friendly staff check). Theres a lifesizeish alpaca stand on front of their smallish store, but PACKED with variety of on theme products. Not cheap, but supporting local never is. $2 feeding bags are great and was so fun to feel the gentle alpaca nibbles. There's lots of shaded areas, for humans and alpacas, to hang out on sunny days. The alpacas when we visited mostly hung in their barn areas but I see a huge field for their typical roaming that they probably use during weekdays. There was a group who went on an alpaca walk (must reserve in advance) and I was glad to see tons of volunteer/staff who were eager to help and answer questions.

I so love the small gift shop and the fabulous warm Alpaca wool socks. Better than anything I purchase online. They last for seasons and keep my feet toasty. I share with all the loved ones in frozen states over winter too. If you are lucky enough to catch an alpaca sighting you are going to be tickled. They are such a great bunch. Humorous and fab photo pals too. Stop by and say hello

This lovely location was hosting a Mother’s Day dinner the night before Mother’s Day. They served us delicious food under a big giant white tent on the side of tge Lavender field. We got to pack the alpacas and walk with them. We learned so much about this beautiful farm and the history. They are incredible farmers who take very good care of their animals and their fields, but especially their family. Everyone was eager to go into the gift shop. And the owner serves and creates many of these products of course having to do with lavender. There are very cool alpaca items you can purchase like gloves and hats and sweaters and different items. It was just an incredible evening.

Double the fun! Got to shop for everything Lavender and see and feed an Alpaca all in one location. The small store is packed with goodies and my alpaca scarf is keeping me warm. Can’t wait to go back in summer to see the field of lavender. Unexpected fun!

EPIC EXPERIENCE. Alpacas are so freaking cool and sweet. You can buy treats to feed them, and they are so thankful. The store is adorable and has lots of great lavendar and alpaca gifts. A must see!!!!!!!
